Privacy Policy

Panetto is built by an indie developer who respects your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

What we collect

Nothing. Panetto does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no account required.

Your data stays on your device

All formulas, images, timers, categories, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synced across your devices using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to us.

iCloud Sync

When enabled, Panetto uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across devices signed into the same Apple ID. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in Settings.

Shopping List

If you use the shopping list feature, items are synced with iOS Reminders on your device. This uses Apple's EventKit framework. No data is sent to external servers.

In-App Purchases

Panetto+ is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Third-Party Services

Panetto does not use any third-party analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services.

Website

The panetto.app website is served through Cloudflare, which provides aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics (such as page views and visitor counts) and may process visitor IP addresses and technical data for security and performance purposes. This data is handled by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy. The website itself does not use cookies or third-party tracking scripts. This is separate from the app — the Panetto app does not collect or transmit any data.

Children's Privacy

Panetto does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.
